It would depend on what shade of red you want and what color your hair is currently. Also keep in mind that depending on your current hair color you might not be able to attain the shade of red you wish for. Typically I would say just go to your local drugstore or Walmart, etc. and purchase permanent hair dye. They have most shades that would be considered natural. If you are wishing for something a little more punk (like a true red) or if you may have difficult to color hair I would find a hair tech to do it for you. Supplies can be bought fo rthis at your local Sally's Beauty Supply or salon store. Good luck!

Go to the store and look at the boxes that show the girls with red hair on their heads....read the box that says RED on it....that's a pretty good indication that you are coloring your hair red. Advice: red pigment comes out quicker than any other color you can color your hair. I would suggest if you dye your hair red that you use a shampoo and conditioner that helps seal in the color pigments longer....
