I think the chemicals in most lip glosses are drying. My daughter had that same problem - it was a vicious cycle. I gave her some lip balm I used and it made a difference. Tell them to try lip balm with natural products, I like UnPetroleum. It's very hydrating.

My husband HATES any style of lipstick, lip gloss, etc., and constantly has. Says it feels "slimey". i don't get kissed on the mouth once I positioned on my lip gloss for the day! i can't rather blame him, no guy needs to take place on the place of work finding like he purely complete a quickie with a hooker!

The lipgloss tends to dry out the lips more. A thicker lipgloss like Revlon Super Lusterous line tends to stay on better.

I love lip gloss! But I don't have to keep re applying it constantly.(even though it is fun and tastes good..lol).I buy the good stuff that stays on and doesn't look all glopped on.

yeah thats strange, I wear lip tint becuase i dont like the feeling of gloss unless its the solid kind you glide on but not the liquidy kind, it reminds me of when little kids drool. I like my lips to have a sheen but not a saliva wet look. Yeah I dont like watching people put it on over and over again

I agree. I saw a girl in a store once who would apply lip gloss, then lick it off, and put more on... over and over again.
There should be a rehab for lip gloss addicts. :p

Yeah, but they have to. Because they did it, now the'r lips wont produce moisture because they are used to product.
hahaha. i always thought that was gross too! like chapstick? it'll dry out your lips if you use it that much, and then you'll lips'll crack.
true story!
