Go see a doctor tomorrow... the only thing is, if it is broken, it may already have begun to reset itself. So... if you do have any breathing problems or just want it fixed (eg septoplasty and reduction of turbinates or rhinoplasty), you may have to wait about 6 weeks for it to heal before you can have surgery. If you want it repaired from a cosmetic standpoint, find a good ENT doc that focuses on facial surgery. Or go the plastic surgery route. Otherwise, talk to your family doctor about your options.
You won't always get swelling and bruising with a fractured nose. The swelling & bruising vary based on the amount/force of trauma and the location of the fracture.

nose injuries are some of the most painful ones-i've been smacked in the nose plenty of times by my toddlers!!
best thing to do is apply ice to it for 10-15 minutes 2-3 times a day and make an appt within 24 hours to see your dr.
take ibuprofen for the pain. it has an anti-inflammatory in it to help reduce swelling. take 200-400mg every 6 hours but no more than 1200mg in 24 hours
report to the er if:
-your nose starts to have increased swelling
-you begin to have difficulty breathing out of your nose
-you have a severe headache or experience prolonged dizziness
-you have a nosebleed that won't stop
-you feel lethargic or overly sleepy
hope you feel better

Owie, Owie, Owie...I had one of my students jump up to show me something last spring and did the same thing to me. I was actually woozy for a minute, my eyes watered, I couldn't believe I got hurt so bad so fast! You may have broken it, but the thing is, that is just such a sharp pain anyway. Ice it, take some ibuprophen and if you bruise or you stay in pain that destracts you from normal tasks, then you may bneed to call your physicians answerting service and see what to do. I'm not sure how they "set" a nose, they may just tape it up and send you home.

CHRISTY, JUST PUT AN ICE PACK ON IT. I THINK IF SOMETHING WAS GOING TO HAPPEN, THEN IT WOULD OF HAPPENED RIGHT AFTER YOUR DOG HIT YOU IN THE NOSE, BUT I AM NOT A DOCTOR, SO MAYBE YOU CAN CALL THE HOSPITAL AND ASK TO TALK TO SOMEONE. I'M SORRY IT HURTS I KNOW WHAT IT FEELS LIKE. I HOPE YOU GET TO FEELING BETTER SOON, BUT TRY THE ICE FOR RIGHT NOW.

I know somebody that had their dog break their nose the same way you described. Put some ice on it and go to the doctor tomorrow.
