Something you like so you can eat the leftovers just wait til the day before Halloween to buy it. It has been many years since I have been trick or treating, but anything chocolate was the best kind to get.

The best halloween treat that I have ever given out was "popcorn hands." They are fairly simple to make and the kids love them. Just buy a box of disposable kitchen gloves. They are clear and cost about $2 or $3 for a box of 50 or so. You will need to pop some popcorn and buy a bag of candy corn and a bag of plastic spider or bat rings. Put the candy corn in the ends of each finger opening then fill the glove with popcorn. Just twist tie the end. I bought a spool of orange and black ribbon and tied a little bow over the twistie tie. Slip the plastic ring on the outside of one of the fingers of the "hand." That's it. You can make 50 treats for under $10. You can even tie a little card on the ribbon so the parents know who gave this to their kids. Believe me, they will thank you for being so creatative!

I think most people just buy what ever is the cheapest ,like it or not. They keep the good stuff for them self.I bought Snickers,Reese's Peanut Butter Cups and Milky Ways....too bad I only had 15 kids come by ! Those cheap hard candys that cost .99 cents a bag are the worst.

I give stuff that I like 'cause I can't be the only one and I remember as a child if I didn't like the type of candy I'd just throw it away, now as an adult (this is funny) I would hate for them to throw away something I spent money on (sorry maybe not funny).

Speaking from a mother/grand-mothers view... the BEST "candy" is anything sugarless... Gum is a good thing. Many candies are now made "sugar-free," but unfortunately, they are quite expensive. That's why "sugarless gum" is the best "candy" *LOL*
Hope this answer helps you! Have a happy halloween!

Little tiny Tootsie Rolls.
Either way - eat them or leave them alone
They are just 'there!'
You can hand them out according to the numbers showing up at your door.
A big handfull /or two pieces to everybody.
