I know that wrestling is as fake as lil kim's breast but are the matches choreagraphed like dance routines?

Usually, wrestling matches ARE choreographed. Sometimes, the wrestlers do kind of freestyle it, or make things as they go along, but they are still acting. Also, the winner of the match is already determined. There's no doubt about it that wrestlers are real athletes that work hard. They train to withstand the pain of falling, flipping and stuff like that. But the bottom line is that the matches are fake. It's funny because, sometimes, while watching wrestling, the fakeness is so obvious. You can tell by watching any match that it's fake. Anyone that tells you that wrestling matches are real is just a 12-year-old kid in denial.

Some elements are choreagraphed, such as finishers, endings, big moments like going through announce tables etc. but most of the match is improvised. Punches are faked, the moves are designed to provide minimal impact to both competitors, and all wrestlers are skilled in the art of falling.

They are tightly choreographed for maximuim impact.

Although the matches are faked as to outcome, the wrestling in and of itself does require a great degree of physical prowess to do the strenuous actions

The moves themselves are real but the matches are all choreographed and the endings are predetermined. Wrestling is after all, considered a soap opera for men.
