This is not for you well thought out people. I appreciate your input. Although we don't agree I enjoy the debate.
For the rest of you. I am against the war.My best friend is serving over there and I want him back alive as soon as possible. I feel we were lied to. I support Public health care. My mother had cancer and if I didn't live in CAnada I would not have been able to afford her chemo and she would have died. Well she was in the hospital, I was in highschool and recieved benifits so I did not lose our house (having no father). Tell me Im a left wing wacko with my head up my ***. Tell me how I support Al Qaeda because I think support Ghandis passive resistance, the Daili Lama's compassion leads to hapiness or MArtin Luthrer Kings human rights theories. And I say all of them are better influences for my kids than Mr Bush.
I am sick of reading this crap everytime I ask a question. You know nothing about me. Let me see your hate. Call me a ****, a wacko, a terrorist,

One if we had the same medical policies of America our raises wouldn't really be financial we would be fighting for coverage to our benefits, even though I understand your viewpoint the unfortunate part it is very personnally biased. Even though our system is beneficial, we also create a dependancy of being on top of our health, for we don't have the expense like america to come out of your pocket if needed. Chances are your mother would have made sure her job covered her or bought health insurance, if we did not have this system. Also are system has cost lives for the time it takes to get the treatment, thats why privatising some non life saving procedures, like if you had to pay 500 for MRI than wait two months you would scrounge up the change, I know I would sell everything if getting info earlier would or might catch any ill effects of anything.
Regarding the war, it is the liberal party that was in power that commited out troops until 2007, after that time the extension can be blamed on Harper and any opposition that supported it Honestly every political party backed the Liberals when they sent the troops knowing that Canadians will suffer or die. And your personnal feelings makes it harder for you to be nutrel in your arguements which I also understand. Your friend joined he choose to be there, he seems to want to be apart of something that you and are not apart of, i commend his courage, and dedication, and hope you get to have a beer with him soon. Tell him this canadian supports our troops and hope your mom is doing well too.
Cheers

specific there must be a debate. NHS isn't using in many sections. some have basically in simple terms began to take pupils lower back - no jobs on the tip of it of path. Many nurses are leaving the British occupation for Canada and Australia. affected person care is suffering with lots immigrant team who can not talk (or understand) English - to an embarrassing diploma. Nursing morale is at an all time low and extremely those days, even the Royal college of Nursing become on the verge of strike. Nursing team are not to any extent further occurring improve classes - they have all been stopped. Mike H is very superb in what he says. Many nurses now ought to artwork on the economic corporation to earn sufficient. oftentimes on a pay value under their grade. human beings won't like the truths that they hear concerning artwork possibilities in this us of a. All i'm able to declare is, " its very darkish once you have your head on your man or woman standard orifice".

I don't exactly know what you are asking for, except to be abused it seems. I have to say that my aunt had cancer and she qualifies as making way below the standard of living and we live in the US. Her hospital bills were paid for by private organizations and she received some of the best care in the world, care that people from Canada with money cross our borders to receive because it is THE best. She didn't have to pay for anything, not even travel costs. She also received government benefits as supplemental income during this time. So I think that the system we have allows for us to provide the best healthcare because it creates an environment where it pays off to study, research, and become a doctor, but we don't just let our poor die in the street due to lack of care. So many people from EVERY country comes here because of the excellence of our medical care, and to think that our free-market system has nothing to do with the quality of our care is ignorant.

hey there amigo, believe what you want.
i am happy that you were in canada when you needed the healthcare. i assume you have little working knowledge of the american health care system but thats ok, i am sure your mother would have been fine here too. if she were employed, they would have health insurance. if not, we have many charity hospitals and cancer centers, as well as socialized healthcare for seniors (not sure of your mom's age).
i agree that MLK and Gandhi are better influences on a child than GWBush however there is a time and place for passive resistance, and it does not work with terrorists. in fact, that is what they hope for.
canadians have always been more passive, more friendly, and more liberal in their willingness to allow government control and the need for security to overtake their desire for freedom. hey, what can i say, it is your culture and personal choices. it works best for you guys. i am not trying to change canada
why are canadians wanting to change america? my fiancee is canadian as are my to-be inlaws. trust me, we debate often.
also remember this. many things can be discussed and put down on paper. so many utopian ideas and theories that one would think everyone should be secure, happy, and well if we could all just get on the same page.
unfortunately, we are all unique individuals and as such, human nature will always hinder the utopian ideas and theories. what happened to gandhi? what happened to dr. king? although their messages live on, few people still understand the true meaning.
Dr. King once said "i dream of a day where a man is judged not by the color of his skin, but rather by the content of his character"
unfortunately in america, the blacks have demanded that programs stay in place which give favoritism to people of certain skin colors, character content notwithstanding.
it is amazing to me how so many things get twisted around over time and turned back on themselves.
who knows who is right or wrong, only time will tell.
i am not going to go down as a pu$$y, nor will my country. we were founded on principles of freedom and liberty, and I for one refuse to let some pansy terrorists and muslims take from me the country and lifestyle that i love without putting up a fight.
try to be as open-minded about right wing conservatives as you want us to be about you bedwetting liberal leftists

dude, you may not be all those things above, but you sure as $hit are a g0ddam muckraker from way back. thats the problem with all you liberals and conservatives types that always wanna argue and talk $hit. instead of posting some nonsense like this, why didn't you post a question asking to hear the point of view of someone on the conservative side on a problem we should all be addressing. perhaps someone from the other side of the politcal fence will have an idea regarding the problem, which may affect us all, that will help you liberals solve it. get what im saying, instead of starting controversy and drama, how about we discuss something that will get us ALL somewhere...

i think only hindsight will give a true picture of bush's influence
and future generations will laugh at america for raising such a laughable example of humanity for public inspection.
it's not fair that someone who doesn't seem to have any true passions about the education, the economy, the state of affairs abroad, global warming, there's nothing forward thinking about him. it seems to me that a cost/benefit analysis of bush will come up with undigestable results for many americans.
someone should just pat him on the head and tell him 'the nightmare is over, you're dreaming child, you don't have to play president anymore, herers a lollipop; twoddle off to bed now."

First of all, if you live in Canada, you cannot vote for our American President--so...
Why should we care what your thoughts or beliefs are?
Secondly, the sentence after the asterisks makes no sense. You think support?
In response to your final partial sentence, here you go!
You are a ****, a wacko, a terrorist,
Hope you are feeling better now, you've been told.
