Do they pay for glasses each year or is it a one time thing?

You have to enter your state to see what Medicare will cover for this. Then, after entering the state, select the choice that reads "Eye Care - Following Cataract Surgery" at the following link:
http://www.medicare.gov/Coverage/Home.asp

In California, for example, it's a one time thing.

There should be a 1 - 800 number on the back of your medicare card. Call them and ask them. They are the best people to answer your question.
