It's a nice area to raise a family. It's got good schools & attractive yet affordable housing. The only downfall IMO is traffic & long commute time if you don't work near the area.

Used to be a nice little town in the far west burbs of Houston, now you can't tell where Houston ends and Katy begins!! There is a great outlet mall there! Katy Mills! And there are some famous people from Katy, Texas :)

Katy is OK nice every thing ,good area to live, just the traffic on 10 to Houston other wise fine most every thing is some what new if it isn't Waite a week it will be at the rate of growth

Katy is a nice suburb of Houston - not the open cesspool of Houston. Katy Mills Mall rocks!
