Keep lifting dood. there are no serious facts saying lifting weight stunt ur growth. I mean dont over do it by no means. Continue lifting and ive been lifting for 3 years now and i can tell you for someone whos only lift for a month and a half to be able to life 205 at ur size..is pretty impressive. Lifting heavy will make u real bulky though and might give the illusion of making u shorter. Ur alreayd pretty short 5'5 so i suggest u lift light weights .. get toned up, gain some weight and youll be fine.

Are you trying to bulk up or tone up? If you are looking to tone up you need less weight with higher repetitions, otherwise if you want to bulk up lower reps and high weight is the way to go. Either way DO NOT neglect the other parts of your body. In other words, don't just focus on your upper body. Increase your flexibility through stretching, power yoga, etc ... Do some cardiovascular exercise in between the days that you want to lift so that you are working on your entire body and giving the muscles a chance to recoup. Check with your doctor to make sure that you are not going to cause yourself any damage in the future with what you are doing. It is not so much a matter of good if in the long run you are going to hurt yourself. So above all. be careful. Watch your form/technique. Have someone to workout with if possible and have them make sure that you are using the proper technique when you lift. I hope this helps.

Very good, but don't try to overdue it. If you pull something or get hurt, that can last for quite awhile. Only do what you feel comfortable with, as you are not a big person.

thats pretty good, but you should slow down, as long as you can lift your weight your ok, let your body finish growing first,

you don't want to have your muscles grow abnormally.
