try a wet cloth, I used to do it with my two dogs (lhasa apso, long hair) until I got tired and cut their hair shorter.

Get a stronger vacuum or use a lint roller then vacuum. Seems to work for me. OR get better couches that have fabric that doesnt let hair cling to it as easily.

A cheap, easy way to remove pet hair is to buy some masking tape and wrap it around your hand and wipe your hand across the furniture...the animal fur will stick to the tape...problem solved.

As tedious as it sounds, try a lint roller. Or look into a vacuum with a bigger motor (Dyson makes a great one for animal hair. I think it's the purple one. Wish I could afford it.)

You can buy a special brush that has a sticky roller on it, that removes animal hair and lint from fabric.

there is a special brush you can buy, it has a fabric like corduroy on it, when you brush it one way it picks up the hair, and when you brush it the other way it cleans itself. I have one and when I bought it, 20 years ago, it was called "Magic" brush.. There is also another brush product that has a roller in it and it too picks up animal fur/hair.

roll some masking tape backwards around your hand, then pat the cushions. the hair sticks to the tape, then just peel into the garbage. works on clothes too.
