Playing 1 on 1, I can usually outdribble most of my competition, but when it comes to the game and I dribble into traffic, I have the tendency to travel, carry, lose control of the ball, or miss my shots 90% of the time.

If you have trouble driving into traffic I suggest staying low and the ball should be close to your body. I also suggest working on your floater, which is being able to lay up the ball very quickly before the defense can even get to you. It's sort of like a high-arcing lay up from a farther distance. Tony Parker has a great floater and also good at penetrating, try watching him.
