You should definitely read the Georgia Nicolson books (by Louise Rennison)! They're as follows:
1.) Angus, Thongs, and Full-Frontal Snogging
2.) On the Bright Side, I'm Now the Girlfriend of a Sex God
3.) Knocked Out by my Nunga-Nungas
4.) Dancing in my Nuddy-Pants
5.) Away Laughing on a Fast Camel
6.) ...Then He Ate My Boy Entrancers
7.) Startled By His Furry Shorts

I've read all of them & can't wait for the next one to come out. Georgia has got to be the funniest and wittiest fictional teen ever.

I also like "The Earth, My Butt, and Other Big, Round Things," and "Bras and Broomsticks."

Here's a list of some of my favorite books:
Like Water For Chocolate
All the Harry Potter Books
Catalyst
Before We Were Free
!YO!
A Lesson Before Dying
The Da Vinci Code
The Kite Runner
How The Garcia Girls Lost Their Accents
Kaffir Boy
The Bluest Eye
The Great Gatsby
Farewell to Arms

Hope you enjoy whichever one(s) you decide to read :)

When I was in high school I loved scary books. I devoured everything by Stephen King and Dean Koontz. Just recently I read the 'Left Behind' series and found those very interesting. Mostly I pick up chick books at Target.

Have you read all three of the Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants? There is also the Pendragon series by DJ MacHale, The Wizard series by Diane Duane. The Charlie Bone series is a bit young, but it is a good read for a rainy day as well. My daughters and I all enjoyed these books although I have to warn you that the Wizard series is a slow starter but gets better and better with each and every book. Enjoy!

Ignore NYC-BROOKLYN.
I have a REALLY long list, but it's on a webpage that is currently not in the mood to cooperate with me. However, I'll tell you what I can recall.

The 'Bloody Jack' series by L.A. Meyer
'The Belgariad' series by David Eddings
'Stravaganza' trilogy by Mary Hoffman
'Mark of the Lion' trilogy by Francine Rivers (it's fiction, but it's got a Christian theme, just so you know)
'Sevenwaters' trilogy by Juliet Marillier
'The Blue Roan Child' by Jamieson Findlay
'Trickster's Choice' and 'Trickster's Queen' by Tamora Pierce
'Shade's Children' by Garth Nix
'Son of the Mob' by Gordon Korman
'Zel' and 'Spinners' by Donna Jo Napoli
'The Arthurian Saga' by Mary Stewart
'Jackaroo' by Cynthia Voight
'The Captive' by Victoria Holt
'The Burning Time' by Carol Matas
'Cowboys Don't Cry' by Marilyn Halvorson
'Janey's Girl' by Gayle Frieson
'Star Split' by Kathryn Lasky
'Wish Me Luck' and 'The Grave' by James Heneghan
'A Walk to Remember' by Nicholas Sparks (way better than the movie)
'Shadow Spinner' by Susan Fletcher
'Girl with a Pearl Earring' by Tracy Chevalier
'Summer Hawk' by Deborah Savage
'The Raging Quiet' by Sherryl Jordan
'Les Miserables' by Victor Hugo (very long. It's a bit hard to stay focused for the first few chapters, but then it gets more interesting. If you're at all feministic, you might get a bit annoyed at one of the female characters, though.)
