Would you stop loving them if it prolonged their life 20 more years?

Physically I would disappear, but in my heart I would carry their memory forever to give them another chance at life, another precious 20 years..

I would not stop loving them, because you can't just turn on and off feelings of love. However if it would help prolong their life, and that person was in agreement with me, I would no longer be there for them so that they could have the additional 20 years.
However, you have to think about how would that 20 years be? Would they prefer to live out the 20 years without your love, or enjoy the last bit of time together with the person they love knowing that they lived their life filled with love?

Well, It should be their decision. If for some weird reason it was mine, I'd never stop loving them, but I'd walk away so they could have the extra 20 years with family and friends.

I do not know if I would stop loving them I do not think that could be turned on and off but I would leave their life if that would save them.

That's a tough thing to do-just stop loving someone. I would leave it up to them as to what they wanted me to do because I've tried to stop loving someone in the past and it's not easy to do.

Love is a powerful emotion. You can't just decide to stop loving someone. I might "set them free" if that would help and that's what that person wanted me to do.

you just cant stop loving someone automatically, not if your feelings are that strong. Its just not possible, they would die. But seriosly, if i could walk away from them and still love them and they live i would leave. But that isnt the question you asked. They would die.

Only if that's what they wanted. If they would rather be loved completely than die unhappy twenty years later, its not worth living.
