I'm seriously going to start a petition to stop these young slores from posting repetitive questions about them possibly being pregnant and send it to Yahoo. How about use a condom when you have sex or get on some birth control? Perhaps, you should even try going to your doctor? If you had a child just 5 weeks ago, why the hell are not protecting yourself from having another one and so soon?

If you're nursing, probably not. But new mothers tend to have spotting for up to 2 months after delivery... especially if the baby was delivered before or after you're typical period start day. If you're nursing though, most people do not ovulate, which in turn, makes its extremely difficult to conceive. I also don't think you ovulate within the first 3 months after having a baby....

Ovulation
The chance that you will ovulate in the first six weeks post-birth is extremely low. When you see your Obstetrician for your six week post-birth appointment, this is a good time to discuss starting contraceptives if you wish to do so.

When a baby breastfeeds, the sucking sends signals to the pituitary to release prolactin. If you breastfeed frequently enough so that there are high enough levels of prolactin (of which the threshold is unique for each woman), ovulation can be suppressed.

Exactly when you resume ovulating is hard to estimate. The longer you continue to breastfeed and the lesser feeds your baby has (as baby becomes older), this increases your chance of ovulation. For some women, they may not ovulate until they stop breastfeeding altogether.

A good way to find out if you might be ovulating while breastfeeding or in general is by observing your cervical mucus – see this article about cervical mucus observations. When my first born was two and still occasionally breastfed, I learnt about cervical mucus observations. One day soon after that, I noticed that I had highly fertile mucus, so I was able to spot that I was ovulating again. As a result, I was able to fall pregnant with my second child on that cycle. Of course, mucus observation can be used as a tool to avoid conception as well as acheiving it. You can also use other tools to confirm ovulation, for example when you have fertile mucus, try using an ovulation prediction test kit or charting your temperatures.

Usually period begins again in 6 weeks...6 weeks after childbirth is so easy to get pregnant..if u are breastfeeding may delay much longer..if not around 6 weeks..spotting could be still afterbirth flow..but if u only spot and have no period within week take preg test ..most likely...good luck

You can bleed afterwards for 2 weeks, so you'll probably start in about 1 or 2 weeks. If you are really concerned your Doctor can do a blood test and find out sooner than a store bought test.

are you breastfeeding? if you are that will hold your period off for a while. I would wait and see if you go full blown period or just some spotting. My doc. told me that you are more susceptible to get pregnant right after one pregnancy so I would take a test to be sure. It can be hard on your body.

you may be getting your first period. you should be having a six month check-up appt. with your OB/Gyn in a week or so. have her check you then if there is a chance of pregnancy. Also, you should be using protection now...as it is easier to get pregnant now. your cervix may still be dialated from having your baby. usualy it can take up to six weeks or so for it to close up. this is why they tell you to wait six weeks after delivery for sex or tampons. good luck!

Could be, my stepsons wife was pregnant again before her 6 week check up. If your not.. go buy condoms, or tel your BF to back off for awhile.

Okay, did you not read the answers to your previous question?
You need to keep your legs closed during this time. Do you want an infection? Just help your bf through it the same way you did BEFORE you had sex the first time, you know....
Please get yourself some pills. It's worth it just so you don't have to ask this question again. Not only so we won't have to read it but also so you won't have to ask it to yourself. Good Luck!

Are you breastfeeding? It is HIGHLY unlikely, your system has not had time to return to normal, and you may continue to spot for a couple weeks, but the chances are negligible that you could have conceived.

Uh Wow.. It takes 6 weeks for your body to heal. What were you thinking? You know they give birth control at that 6 week check up.
