please don't treat him like he isn't a healthy child..he still needs to know the boundrais and know that if he does something that isn't right, that there will be some form of discipline..forgive his sickness and don't allow it to keep him from enjoying life, and keep it from you enjoying having him for a son..i belive in miracles and i belive if we precieve others as disable they will precieve theirselves as disable and usually take advantage of it, make others feel guilty and try to get by with all kinds of stuff..i know this may be hard to understand..but i do know that that miracles happens, but we must belive in them and trust, complete trust..if you must dicipline him, talk to him explain to him that you will not allow his sickness to take the place of learning and love..blessings dear one

Oh that is too sad! I think you need to really choose carefully what you discipline him for and talk to him more than anything considering the circumstances. He has to be frustrated being stuck inside and so sick and that could make him act up. Poor little guy! Good luck and I hope he gets better!

Wow..that's a tough one, on one hand you probably feel guilty because he doesn't have the same things as other kids his age but on the other hand, he's 4 and he needs to have limits. I think I'd try to find a happy medium, maybe not sweat the small stuff but the bigger stuff I'd really try to keep him in line with. Good luck and hope he's feeling better!

i'm sorry yet i could start to prepare for the worst (yet miracles do take place!) tell your babies that mommy is amazingly ill and that she might desire to pass and notice God quickly and be an angel. Spend as plenty time as you are able to at the same time and convenience your spouse, she is proubaly greater scared than you. notwithstanding you do attempt to maintain unhappy thoughts to your self once you're along with your babies. they might desire to appreciate that existence is going on, and that's the way that God needed issues. My mom died whilst i became 10 and that's what my dad did. My friends (there triplets), their dad died of a unexpected coronary heart attack, they did no longer even get to declare see you later. Their mom did an identical undertaking my dad did .purchase your babies diaries and tell them to jot down approximately how they sense. Reassure your spouse which you would be able to preserve issues and he or she does not could hassle. purely be advantageous you get to spend on my own time along with her to, carry the youngsters to the buddies or get a sitter. purely make the time you are able to desire to have left relaxing and remarkable, you are able to hassle after the factor.

Is it really worth it? Just enjoy what time you have with him. Take him away from what ever he is doing by distracting him with something else. I dont think I would want to dicipline my son if he had cancer. Good Luck and sorry to hear this

why would you want to? he is dying? and only 4 years old- let him live before he dies..if it is from him misbehaving in social situations (like resturaunts) then I would suggest you just not go for a while, if it is violence then that I would stop..say no - that is hurting and then distract him from the violent behavior by giving him a cuddle, mostly just love him, love him with all of your heart before you can't..

Just tell him he may be sick, but if he acts like a horses patooty,, then he deserves a proper form of discipline. Actually, he may be getting sick of being treated so nice! Because it reminds him he is sick! Get back to parenting! Its the only normal thing to do.
