You are in the 6th grade and being asked out? Wow, things have sure changed since I was in elementary school!
Honey, this is a good lesson for you about boys; BE CAREFUL. When a boy has a girlfriend and asks someone else out, he's a dog and you tell him to take a hike. Remember this lesson, it will come in handy as you grow up. Sadly, the boys don't change their ways much, that's why you need to be smart and respect yourself, be careful get to know someone slowly and never, ever do anything you feel isn't good. Ok?
I also suggest you get some better friends, they seem to have their priorities a bit messed up.

This is exactly why I am afraid of getting married and having children.
I think that the whole bf gf thing is creeping into younger and younger generations, soon we'll have bf and gf in kindergarten.
Don't try to grow up fast, enjoy your childhood and don't think about boyfriends just yet. Once you are 14 and in High School it becomes more fun because you get a little more freedom from your parents.

Don't let your friends make you go out with a guy. When you're only in 6th grade, dating is NOT fun at all. Spend your time enjoying whats left of childhood and worry about that stuff later.

LOOK HERE im in 6th grade too i would know what to do even though imma boy i asked a girl to be my gf yesterday. just act normal and dont freak i dont like that he may though so hard to answer.
