I have a Dell dimension 4600, 2.4 ghz, 40gb hd, currently have fx 5200 128mb AGP, i don't know what my power supply's power.

Your power supply is 250W. As for video card, you can get anything that uses AGP and works with 250W. If you could email me a price range you are looking at I could be more help.

What your asking is a very broad question. Depending on your budget, what you intend to use the PC for, all need to be looked at so you can work out what you need in the way of a video card.
You can spend from about $50 to $1000 or more, depending on how deep your pockets are.
Also you need to check the type of card you need, eg: AGP or PCIE
What i would suggest is to look at the questions, and then use Google to have a look around the market to see what suits your needs.
