Zoe R... what is it are you trying to achieve? Why Ballet or Soccer? If you want to learn grace and art (of dancing) then it's Ballet. But if your passion is for tough action and agility, Soccer or similar sport should be your choice. Training time should not be an issue, unless you don't intend to get serious about what you are getting into. Basically, the right choice would be where your passion is at.

I would have to say soccer, because unless you are young ballet would be very difficult for you to jump into. Ballet also kills your feet, my younger cousin takes ballet and she can't learn point yet because her feet haven't grown to full length, but already it's taking a toll on her feet.
Soccer tones your body, it also helps to expand your lungs, it's great for your body and health. Although dangerous, it also allows for violent tendencies. It's a rough sport, if you like to play rough then soccer is perfect for ya.
I hope this helps ya!

i do no longer see why you are able to no longer do the two. i began dancing whilst i became 3, swimming whilst i became 4, soccer whilst i became six, golf whilst i became 8, violin whilst i became 9 and musical theatre whilst i became ten. besides as that I did judo, trampolining and kick-boxing yet they only lasted a pair of three hundred and sixty 5 days. I additionally got here across time to be on the hockey, netball and rounders communities in college. as quickly as I became fourteen i began out to prioritise and characteristic decrease it right down to dancing, violin, golf and my college group activities to get purely somewhat a social existence. i think of a good style of it rather is the style you cope with some time. I relish having a hectic time table as I constantly have and that i'm inspired sufficient to do college artwork rather previous due at night and nonetheless pass assessments with intense grades even with the undeniable fact that it does not tournament each and every physique. additionally you are able to dedicate your self to what you do, rather soccer, you will join a collection and you are able to't purely provide up for no reason (mine became for too many injuries). same with happening factor, you are able to prefer to place the attempt in each and every lesson as you purely is not any sturdy till you do. woah long answer, sorry.

well i've danced for 10 years and it is a ton of fun!! all the dancers at my studio are real supportive of new dancers. the teachers will help you achive an don't worry if they correct you a lot more than everyine else because she is just trying to help you improve. and about that pointe thing, at the least, it will probably take you at least 1 year to strengthen you anklles and everything. and you don't have to do pointe, just to let you know it is very painful and hard!! i say BALLET!!

It sounds like you like athletics already, if you play netball. I would go with soccer. It's great exercise and you gain strength in your legs and flexibility as you might in ballet, but you don't have to wear the funky tutu and slippers !

Guys may come to watch soccer, but they probably won't come to watch ballet. So choose soccer.

only YOU can answer this for YOU, but see if this helps; take a sheet of paper fold it in half and write the pros of each on one side and the cons on the other side; maybe you like dripping sweat outside (soccer) or maybe you like working hard in doors and then having a chance to dress up (costumes) and show off all you have learned(recital); honestly, it all depends on what you like and what you want to get out of the experience;
