Should we be made fun of for what we wear??

Question

Do you think teens/preteens should be made fun of or not treated the same because they dont wear a certain brand of clothing? Well in my school thats what happens. I dont like waisting my money on a shirt that i can just by somewhere else cheaper. I dont know what to do. im sick of being made fun of!

It is so wrong, I am becoming increasingly opposing to societies messages, I conform to none of them, I am my own image and i am for me and only ME to shape. I am in controll of how i act, dress, talk, and live, and not even the most popular kid in the world can change me. I fit no group (emo, prep, goth, etc), I am my own group, and i reject labels. a label is a way for a person to try and controll you because they fear you.

Yeah it is really stupid! I love clothes but I'm also cheap. Try and find stores in your area that carry items that high brand stores give there "left over" clothes to. I like to go to a store called Ross, I believe there is a chain of them. They have high name brands for cheap! Like I've seen 40 -60 dollar jeans for like 10 -15 dollars. Other store you can see if it's in your area is Lee Clothing and Rugged Warehouse.
Another thing you can do is go right to the clearance rack. Now not all trendy store will mark down items really cheap so you will have to find out which ones do. There are a lot of stores popping up that do sell clothes at a reasonable price. Forever 21 and Rue 21 are two of my favorites. Some items can be pricey and some are a steal. I've walked out of Rue 21 before with a great 5 dollar shirt!
And finally another place people don't think to look is Burlington Coat Factory. People think just Coats but they have racks and racks of cheap clothing. Sometimes even name brand.
Just because your thrifty doesn't mean you can't be trendy! If nothing else you should be proud of the fact that you know how to save your money. What comes around goes around and when they get older and are in debt because they want to be trendy...well wont you feel sorry for them!

While those idiots are sitting there with their expensive clothes, they will soon have no money to take care of themselves.
those are those types of people that buy things that they can't even spell! If they spent more time paying attention to what's important, they would know how to spell what they are wearing. this is the reason that they don't have lunch money half the time.
there is nothing wrong with being froogle, it only means that you would rather spend money on more important things.
when they try to get in your face, ball up your fist and crack'em!

don't worry about what other people think,wear what you want and feel good about it,they are no better because they spend all there money on cloths,most do it to show off,myself i think cloths that come from a thrift store is just find and looks good,and I am happy even though I could go out and buy the best,why do it all the time,cloths change so most and so often now,who cares,just feel good about yourself and keep going.

i agree this happense in my school also. i dont think it is right in some instances, but if u have a girl dressing in extremely sluty/skimpy clothes or men dressing in extremely tight or "gay" clothes then that offers some exceptiones. but if everyone know the person and knows they are "cool" or watever then i dont see why it should happen.

what you wear and what it cost make no difference in the grown up world. Don't pay any attention to the kids who make fun of you. I'm sure you dress just fine.

i does no longer placed on it to varsity specially reason their moccasins and that's for like putting out on the abode, yet i does no longer make relaxing of you for it in any admire it is your selection. human beings make relaxing of what they do no longer understand.

nope, i dont think craking on people is cool, especially kids...its hurtful....and it really does not make scense. I mean i know i have done it, and i have been cracked on...it aint cool at all....
