Many telemarketers keep on calling me even after telling them not to call me again. My number is already in DO NOT CALL list.
In California law is that you cannot record the conversation without consent from all the parties.
At first as Telemarketers are breaking the law by calling me can I record the conversation?
If I inform them that I am going to record the conversation from next time and that I am recording the current conversation is that enough?
Is sending email to that company and informing that if they call me they agree to recording of the conversation good enough?
Many states have laws which allow them to record the conversation just by their own consent, Use it.

I do report the calls to donotcall site. If you notice it is written that government cannot bring suit against the company on behalf of an individual.

I use to work for a telemarketing company. We did download the national do not call list every month. There are a number of reasons that a person can get bumped off of the do not call list for example if you forget to pay your phone bill and your service is temporarily interrupted or a number of other simple reasons. It is good to always keep it updated frequently and do not depend on it keeping your number for the length of time it says it will. Also when you put yourself on it, it takes about 30 days for the businesses to get it.

You are correct, you can not record a conversation without consent in California.

Report them to the do not call list on the same site where you joined the registry. If you have caller ID, all you need is the number, if you can get the company name it is even better. Report them every time they call.

First thing - get the company's name. Secondly, report them to the DONOTCALL.GOV service. Thirdly, QUIT PLAYING WITH THEM. After that, you will not hear back from them. If you did register your telephone number with the donotcall.gov and they continue to call you, they will be held liable and considered breaking the law. There is nothing you can do to bring suit against them... let donotcall.gov handle the matter the appropriate way. Recording their conversation is only a waste of your time and besides it only allows for other telemarketers to continually call you. Wise up and use the DONOTCALL.GOV services that was established for the privacy of people like yourself.

I don't know about California, but here in New York I had this problem with a telephone company that kept calling me and wanting me to change service. I too was on the DO NOT CALL list. After the third call I notified my state attorney general and asked what I could do about it. I explained that I had already told them in two calls not to call me back. I was told that if they called me a third time to tell them again not to call me anymore and if after being told three times not to call me if they called again I could sue the company for harrassment. Needless to say when they called again I told them what the attorney general had told me, you guessed it, no more calls. I guess what I am trying to say is call you state attorney general and see what the rules are in your state.

I believe if you notify them that they are being recorded then legally you are allowed to record them. Just get their verbal agreement on tape, if they won't agree then just hang up.
