How old are you - if under 18 not legal to sign contract
Note: a check is a form of a contract
If you are under 18 ask your parent/guardian to assist you, the two of you will go to the bank & you will sign the check over to them. They will in turn endorse it. Effectively, they are signing the contract on your behalf.
If you are over 18, you will most likely need 2 forms of ID. One needs to be state or government issued. The other can be a utility bill in your name at the same address shown on State ID or a birth certificate. Then go to the bank that the check was written out of & ask them to cash it. Don't be surprised if they charge you a fee for this service... unless you have a bank account with the bank.
