I was wondering what the minimum or maximum value that I am worth in my field. I have 2 years internship experience, and am ready to work full time now! I am about to graduate from VCU in central Virginia and am wondering what am worth.

That is the sort of question that you should ask a teacher or a councilor from your University or College

It depends on what business field you are going in to. In any case, with a Bachelors and little experience, $30-40K per year. After you get some years of experience and responsibility for significant revenue or a budget, in a $20 million+ company, you might push up into $80-120K per year.
However, there are so many variables - you, the company you work for, revenues, responsibilities, etc. - it's hard to say. Good luck

The schools will tell you an average of 35k a year....

In the real world you'll be lucky if you can get a job. I have five years job experience and intern experience and my Business Administration degree is worth less than $10 an hour. Basically the degree is useless.

I think you have GREAT potential for a good job. I am a business admin. minor at the University of ALabama, and I know a lot of people who have gotten really good jobs with a degree in Business and not much experience. Two years of experience is AWESOME. You should look into Pharmaceutical SALES!!! You would make good money.......

And to the people above.....you make what you want to out of your degree. So, if you look hard and work hard, you WILL succeed! GOOD LUCK!

And your placement office can't answer this question? That doesn't speak well for the value of your degree.
And, by the way, when you say "in my field", what field are you talking about? Don't you think that might impact the evaluation?
