I have a friend of 6 years who has put me through so many lies. Everytime he does something to me, he doesn't say sorry and expects me to get over it. I'm ALWAYS the one who ends up talking to him first but this time, I'm waiting for HIM to say sorry. It has been two weeks and he's not even man enough to come and tell someone who he's been friends with for 6 years, "sorry".
Am I just being stubborn? If he finally apologizes, should I accept it? I don't need him but I hate avoiding him. I really need some advice.

It may sound like I just get angry all the time, but this has been years and throughout the years he does really bad things to me. One time he cut my finger with scissors and left me a scar. He told his parents that I put my finger there for him to cut it. He never said sorry for that but I forgave him anyways.

Your not doing anything wrong. This is a sign you are maturing faster than he is. Why apologize to a immature jerk, go on without him. If he ever apologies accept it if you want but don't worry about him this may be his way of trying to control you.

If the guys is only using you to lie and be rude too, I would write him out of my life. I would not accept his apology and say "I am sorry (Name), but you have put me through a lot by lying to me and hurting to me, and you don't even have the guts to apologize. I can't have a friend like relationship with you." Let those be the last words.

Have you tried talking to him? Explain to him that you need his apology and why it means so much to you. But I don't really think you are being stubborn. You deserve an apology-just might get better results if you explain your point of view to him.

Try telling Him how you feel maybe that is just his personality. I have a friend and she is very much like your friend. Her and I were mad at each other for a whole summer and now we just started patching things up. I learned the hard way that you cant just brush things under the rug, you half to tell them how you feel.

He doesn't sound like much of a friend to me. Move on. A friend is someone who cares for you, doesn't hurt you, and helps you be a better person. Find someone who can do that for you and dump this guy!

i think it would be best to wait it out maybe another two weeks or so i mean it is not as though it will kill him or you, just see how things unfold and maybe he will get a clue. i don't know how old you or your friend are but it seems like you need to move toward more mature relationships

He is not much of a friend if he lies to you. Please don't call him. You have to make the decision on whether or not to accept his apology.
