I can't say which is my best ever.
There are way too many talented bands.
How to define the word 'best'? Should we define it as how the band changed the world? What influence it had on the music industry? How it made us feel while we were having sex? How they now have new bands today just ripping off their music?
I think there are too many genres of music to try & choose which is the best.

There are so many, I personally say the boys from Muscle Shoals, Lynyrd Skynyrd. but, Alternate it would be Distrubed, Pop would definitely would be the five guys from Liverpool, The Beatles. Country would be the Texan, George Strait, Blues is hands down to the ole B.B. you know the King. Best Classic Rock and still rockin is Areosmith. But never forget about Spinal Tap.

alot of dudes would prolly say zep, metallica, stones, or something like aerosmith...aside from mainstream publicly accepted metal bands, I think there are some very cool bands that don't get credit where credit is due...in particular one artist...Brian Adams...now there's a guy who actually seems like he's halfway there...most of these bands are just whacked out drug users who aren't even coherent enough to carry on a simple conversation...and there's other bands for one reason or another, be it no lack of talent, never made it big prolly cuz they never handed out any payola to the radio stations (which is illegal "now" but still being done in my estimation) or record companies or whoever else might and prolly does get a cut...one of these bands is Shooting Star..check out their epic song Last Chance...another band is The Killer Dwarfs...check out their cut "Doesn't matter"...it's all on my MS web site... .you can link on their myspace through my site on myspace...here's a link.. http://profile.myspace.com/index.cfm?fuseaction=user.viewprofile&friendID=114416351
anyway...theres dance bands...the Bee Gees...theres a band that one would be hard pressed to match...and then there's the classics...Journey, Boston, and bands like Europe...this is real music much to the dismay of most hardcore punks and street thugs...give em a listen...oh and btw...who cares what your dumb little buddies say you should listen to anyway?.(not speaking to anyone imparticular, just the group as a whole)..aren't you capable of making those decisions yourself?...I know I am...
