It only sends me to the correct site after three tries. I have run my spyware and virus programs and they come back clean.

Sounds like you have adware on your computer. You should download ad-aware, I find it very helpful. And if all else fails, do a system recovery.

It is possible you have a pop up virus that your spyware/virus program is not finding. There is a virus programs used by a lot of colleges/universities that is a joke, command or something...it allowed 300 trojan class virus attack my buddies computer at ETBU...we only know cause he ran a scan with it first...then a scan with norton...command found 0, norton found 300.
I was right there with him when he did this.
try google...different search engines for one topic is best as not all search engines hit the same sites. I find that google and yahoo often find things the other does not.
Look for meta-search engines. The more search engines you try the better. As you try different ones notice which ones give you the same results...don't use the duplicate...only use ones that give different results.

Even though you checked for adware/spyware that usually happens when adware/spyware installed on your computer. Try using a different web browser and see if the problems still exists.

It sounds like you have been hijacked. I know that whenever you want to go to a site it will take you to theirs. Is it the same site over and over again? If so, you will have to go through your programs and find the problem. Good luck.
