I am 18 and really need my licence but cannot get a car until i have one, or even drive it to the DMV anyway until i did, and none of my friends will lend me their car for the purpose.
I am on my permit and I have enough experience to get it for sure, ive been at it since i was seventeen, but my friend who i could drive with moved out of country so I need to get my own car and everything now.
Any help would be appreciated
^-^ Lillian

You can hire a driving instructor to take you for your test. The DMV does not provide vehicles.

You can use anybody's car as long as it has current registration and insurance. It can belong to you, your parents, a friend, an aunt or uncle, or your best friend's cousin's fiance's mom. You may want to note that everything has to work (turn signals, all lights, etc.), the tires must be good, and the car has to be mechanically sound in order for you to be able to use it for your test. You will also need to know where all of the controls are, so you need to familiarize yourself with the car before your test.

No, they do not provide it. You need to someone who can provide it to you. Be sure that the car you are going to use is valid/legal in every aspect and there IS a valid insurance by the vehicle owner. They can check the proof of insurance before let you start the car.

You provide the car, and make sure it's insured and everything like horn, turn signals etc etc work, or they will tell you to come back later after you fix it.
