Previous poster had it right.... if you're drinking enough to get a hangover, you're probably not going to prevent them.
There are those pills, like Chaser, some people recommend taking aspirin or tylenol before bed, but the reason you have a hangover is because when the alcoholl is metabolized, it results in a number of toxic chemicals in the body. Alcohol is metabolized into acetaldehyde. The liver usualy converts this into acetic acid, but when you drink a great deal, the liver is overwhelmed and this chemical is released into the blood stream. This poison, from what I understand, part of what causes the hangover. The only way to prevent the hangover is to not overtax your liver. Drink moderately, or don't drink.

Drink lots of water and take a couple aspirins befor you go to bed. The hangover is caused by dehydration.

If you're drinking hard liquor, stick to the clear ones like Vodka or gin.
Don't change your drink halfway through. If it's wine, stay with wine, don't switch to beer or liquor.
Drink plenty of water.
DO NOT take tylenol. Alcohol and Tylenol together are really really hard on your liver.
Still, the best method of all is not to drink to excess. Besides, watching drunks is a whole lot more fun than being one.

They make this certain pill that you can take... just go to the store and ask one of the workers, you take it before you drink and after so many drinks. It works... but I haven't drank in about 5 months cause Im pregnant so I can't remember what they are called. Thats what I used to take. They are in a red box. Good luck.

well if you're going to drink... try to match each drink with one glass of water. Then if you still feel like crap the following morning, drink lots of water with a few aspirins. Fresh water is really the only way to get rid of a hangover.

Don't drink too much -- ha. Okay, I have heard you can take aspirin before you go out -- but no tylenol with alcohol.
