This dance is supposedly for students. However, in recent years the adults have outnumbered the kids and forced the kids to seek their own party elsewhere!

How sad! The students need to come together and get a petition going, they should have only one, at the most two adults to supervise the dance, more adults is not a dance for the students, but for the adults. How times have changed, since I graduated. Today's students carry more burdens, than any students before them, adults should realize it and give them a break.

Might I assume you are not a parent or student?
Where do you fit in to the equation? City?, Small Town? Homecoming dances are for all past students.... the kids know it before hand. Most towns have the typical Homecoming Football game/Dance. IF the kiddo's are going off and finding a party place for themselves --- how many are going to get in to trouble?

Instead of asking this question.....why don't you consider giving the teens something to do if it upsets you so bad.

Good Luck!!
