No it doesn't. I used to Be a porn actress, and I watch it all the time. I think bringing into the bedroom is an excellent thing to do to "spice it up a notch"

Anyone saying that people in porn are NASTY need to understand that it's safer to have sex with a porn start than your own spouse... we are tested every 21 days!! Can the majority out there say that?

I think it does have a negative effect on the relationship. It could be that you become discontented with the person you're with or what you're doing and want more and more..

Avoid it? Just don't think about it.. If there are temptations then leave or say no.

Porn can only have a negative effect on relationships and ruin marriages and that type of thing if the people involved are prudish, or have religious objections or something. I mean come on images of other people having sex ruining a marriage.. geez that is ridiculous people use any excuse to get divorced these days. For healthy normal people who aren't against it then porn does not ruin anything it is what it is. And as far as I know most people are not tempted by porn unless they are say in the room with the porn stars having sex or something.

The only way it could affect your relationship is if there is a STRONG possibility that your lover can 'hook-up' with one of those porn stars. Other than that, no way. Some people (like the guy above) have an 'addictive personality.' He got hooked on porn like heroin. People also get hooked on gambling, alcohol, and twinkie bars. I like my coffee & cigars but I'm not 'hooked'. I look at porn, but I don't overdo it. With anything, moderation is the key.
Porn = fantasy, nothing more - nothing less. Have you ever tried watching it together? Go to http://www.adameve.com/ they have some couples flics that you might find enjoyable and it might help spice thing up a bit.

Not for us it hasn't had a negative effect. What temptations? It's just images on a screen. It only changes if you actually get involved yourself. These people are grow adults making their own choices. Nothing wrong with it.

I think if you are loyal and watch porn together (or solo) things are alright.....I can't say if it makes you tempted to cheat, it never has for me....but unless you have a high sex drive and your partners is low.....you may run into problems....just don't cheat, break it off with your partner if you want to get with someone else in the sack....I'm sure your partner will be happier that you didn't cheat and possible given then an incurable STD!!!!! Be Safe!!

Porn is simply nothing more than nasty people trying to make a living. There should be no temptation in that. If there is then there are deeper issues at hand.

It definitely will have a negative effect. One of the partners will end up feeling insecure, jealous, and completely humiliated.
