I certainly don't know any of my Republican friends whose kids are serving over there. But my Democrat friends do seem to have their children serving over there in a far outbalanced number.

Yet to hear the Republicans argue that Chelsea Clinton or Kerry's kids didn't serve therefore there are no Democrat kids serving (and dying) in Iraq is the oddest, strangest and most corupt logice I've ever heard. With logic like that no wonder my party endorsed Foley in serving as the committee chair to protect exploited children!!!

I'm thinking of swithching to the Democrat party. I'm so mad I could spit!

Amazing isn't it? Surprisingly enough I know some of the young men over in Iraq and they come from good DEMOCRATIC homes...to that my Grandfather served in the Navy (d), my Dad retired Navy (d) my brother served in the Navy (d), his father-in-law is retired Navy (d), two of my Uncles served in the Air Force (d), and my other Grandfather served in the Army also (d)!!! And yet, GWB served? in the National Guard???.

You don't have to switch parties, just vote for the best person to fill the job. Democrat doesn't mean liberal...not really although some would have everyone think so...ya know those Republicans that don't have time to get off their ivy covered behinds to serve and PROTECT. Thanks to all the young men and women that serve and protect everyday. From the ARMY, AIR FORCE, MARINES, NAVY, COAST GUARD, and each and every POLICE OFFICER and FIREMAN....

First the only "kids" in Iraq are Iraq children

The US has men, soliders in Iraq.

And next there is not a single US soldier or private contractor that is not there because they don't want to be. Every person there has enlisted or went to work for someone knowing there would end up in the middle east somewhere.

So thier political party does not matter, since they beelive in the war and they beleive in what the US is doing.

So perhaps because they support the war, people only assume they are republicans since most democrats don't.

And I doubt you have to switch since I figure you are already a democrat and just lying about it, to make your rant sound more real

That's weird because my husband is US Army, and nearly every single soldier we know or have known over the last four years has been Republican. Many of our friends have been deployed, also.

What they do have is an army of PATRIOTS, all shapes, sizes, political affiliations, and religions and every damn one of them enlisted.

So, I thank them all and am thankful for them all.
