I just see this said after racist statements. Just wondering what others think. Please don't bring any other race in this. I am talking about white power, nothing else.

Hey first answerer. What does "Black Power" mean to you then? Didn't I tell you not to bring other races in this?

I'm afraid I don't understand why someone would report you for this question. It's not like you said "white power" is what you believe in... Whatever. Everyone wants to be offended.

Anyway, it is exclusively a racist term, professing the white race (called "Aryans" by many racists) as the superior race. It seems to me that it's something kind of like a call to action. They have convinced themselves that they are oppressed, so it's like a call to take the power back. Either that, or it's just that they're reiterating their belief that whites are the more powerful race. I'm leaning towards the first meaning, though.

It's sad that people get all upset about this being talked about in this way (not someone suggesting they believe in white power, just wanting to know what it means). Refusing to talk about it leads to ignorance, and ignorance is one of the main causes of prejudice, intolerance, and hate.

You have to bring other races into this because it's a racist statement. It's like saying talk about the colour blue, but without reference to any other colour. Meaningless. If the whole world was blue, there would be no colour and we wouldn't see it as blue.

White Power is the same as Black Power.

It's someone talking about some inherant power from a particular skin tone.

Stupidity.

Of course I hate it when anyone talks about "White Power", but what really confuses me is how much more acceptable it is to talk about "Black Power."

You can find magazine or newspaper articles with a focus on black power, and that's somehow acceptable because for whatever reasons black people are supposed to be victims and it's seen as a good thing to give some sense of self esteem in connection with skin colour. Yet you would never find that type of article about white people unless it was in some obviously insane publication.

For whatever reasons Western culture has this thing where we think it's fine to pump up people's egoes based on all "races" except whites.

I'm white and I couldn't give a rat's *** about "White Power."

When I see "Black Power" I think that some people unfortunately are feeling insecure and want to pump up their egoes. I don't particularly enjoy being the frame of reference due to my skin colour.

You're black? What do you want me to do about it? I don't see you as black. I see you as a person. If you go rambling about Black Power, then I see you as a stupid person who's way too caught up in your skin colour. Same goes for white. I'm white. So what? I just want people to see me as a person too.

As I understand it, White Power is a violent Racist group, they are against any other race and culture, even religion. Be very careful, don't get into a debate with a white racist, it could be very dangerous, these are violent and ignorant people. Our Government is not doing enough to crack down on them. They are more dangerous then the Ku Klux Klan, they hide.

When I hear the term white power it makes me think of a bunch of white christian idiots running around misquoting the bible and being too stupid to know that christianity began in the middle east and their assertions that it is for white people being ridiculous and laughable. Just a bunch of people so stupid that you have to wonder how they manage to figure out how to even breed, and wish they couldn't figure it out.

White Pride! Like you didn't know!

Contrary to the belief of many, having pride in being white does not constitute being racist.

Thanks for the points which is all that this stupid question is good for.

About 40years ago, it meant ugliness toward blacks. But today, to me, it means keeping our race safe and protected from others that no longer seek equality, but supremacy and payback.

Flour, sugar, shortening, egg whites, milk = pancakes?
I don't know what you want, but that is what I think of.
Butter is sometimes white when we make it ourselves.
I don't understand what that has to do with race or skin color?
