Template won't stick (myspace and blogger). Ends up just a gray background.?

Question

I've had this happen in both myspace and blogger. I pick out a really nice template and get it all set up and looking good. It will be perfect until like the next day and then it will only show a blank gray background on my site. Why won't the template "stick"???

To clarify - it will work and look great the first day. It isn't until later that it stops working.

sometimes the site or the template is still under construction so try it in a couple of days =)
