Well considering i'm from Arkansas and talk like the biggeat hick ver i say Arkansas!! example i pronounce chevy like its shivy and i say ain't all the time my school is even hickish!!! our teachers talk like the biggest hicks and we even have beleive it or not but each year we get out of ur last two classes to go watch a turkey (yes i said turkey) callin contest!!!! its the biggest thing in our school besides spirit week and that just b/c it has a camo day!! also we always go hunting (we take off for our jobs and school and even bigger things just to go hunting!!! if that ain't hick for ya i don't know what is!) Also when like a hott guy goes by in a really nice truck (or for the guys if i girl goes by in a really nice truck) we look at the truck way before we relize hey theres some1 drivin it! i'm serious if there was ever a bigger hick state then Arkansas i would be shocked!!! So long live the hicks!!!! in Arkansas!

Well, sometimes I think we do in Wisconsin.
Do you actually have the stats for this and if you passed around a questionaire...how many people would recognize themselves as "hicks" or admit it.

Hey ya'll why do you instantly classify us as "hicks?" And yes I just said ya'll. That is a huge steriotype and yes, I am a country girl. Proud of it too. So I would say my home state Oregon.
