I believe so but ask your OB or your hair dresser before you do.

Hi there,
you mean muscle relaxant like Anarax? It is not very safe to consume muscle relaxant when you are pregnant especially during the first trisemester.
Go for external therapy like back massages (but only after you pass the first trisemester). use essential oils e.g. lavender and ginger.
As for hair relaxer job, studies have shown that chemicals do penetrate the scalp skin to the bloodstream so to be on a safe note, just do it after baby pops out (if you are not breastfeeding).
take care.

What kind of relaxer are you referring to? For your hair or for your body? A muscle relaxer or hair relaxer? Ask your doctor anyway before you DO ANYTHING.

Ask your hair dresser. I had always heard that you couldn't, and most of my friends had braids during their pregnancy.

Yeah, get some drugs.
More chemicals and garbage from your quack the better.
