Yes it is in the wording! It can not sound like you are directing to a particular individual. That would be correspondence. An example of chatting would be for instance( this happened just the other night) The female started out with just 3 or 4 words with the dot trail(......) and then a question mark(?). When you clicked on the question to see the additional remarks, it consistied of her telling the story of her marriage in vegas and how now they were home already and starting their new life together and blah, blah,blah. Nothing she had to say could be conected to her lead off to form a true question.
