I know if you love something set it free. If it comes back to you its yours but if it doesnt it never was.I'm just finding it very hard to let go of our past.I just know in my heart & soul he still loves me.We weregoing to be married but he said he could not handle being locked up and worrying about me.He said he loved me too much.Now, he married to someone that can give him the money and security he wants.Am I the dumb one here?

No, you are definitely not the "dumb" one. he made a choice and it was his choice. you have to live with it. no need to go over and over and over. specially when the documents of marriage are legal, the other party still lives and loves, the story is endless. but you have to put an end to it. and start from the beginning another story, please not the same story -- that is gone. Kapish. Understood. I don't know why in school they educate us in physics, algebra, chemistry and a host of other non-sense subjects that we hardly use in real life -- but when it comes to human relations they are nil...or zilch...why...and you are a perfect case. a nice woman, i assume, a sensitive one I am sure --yet lost in the choice of choices and trying to find your way out in this jungle. i only wish you good guidance and thanks to yahoo answers you have my advice. Use it.

I think that he was trying to make up an excuse to break up with you. Why could he commit himself to another women? Wouldn't he worry about her too? If I were you I'd go out with your friends and meet new people. You'll find someone that will treat you right.

No you are not dumb. You loved this guy and gave him your heart. It sounds to me that he didn't really love you, and in the long run wasn't worth your love. In time you will find someone that will love you with all of their heart asyou will with yours. Just don't give up.
