It's not going to be repealed...I wouldn't lose any sleep over it - Why would you even think of such a thing....

You noticed my question, have you? I can't think of anybody else who has ever talked about repealing the 14th.

The first sentence of the 14th Amendment was intended to guarantee citizenship to the newly freed slaves. That, obviously, was accomplished. I can't understand why someone would think that the definition of citizenship would start becoming confused and lost if the 14th Amendment were repealed AND REPLACED, like I've been saying.

But if you're really, really worried that some state government somewhere is going to go crazy and start taking citizenship away from people who already were citizens, then I can certainly go along with an additional clause to what I've proposed. If you want to still take the trouble to define citizenship again with an additional clause in my proposal then I'll fully support it.

Owning Land. Same as ancient Greece. Same as the Founding Fathers wanted it.

It won't be repealed, so don't worry about it.
