As far as I know, no one is OFFICIALLY running at this time. The election is not until 2008. Rudy would be a very formidable candidate and would probably win in November. However, he is pro-choice and a bit of a womanizer and hardly the saint that the "family values" party is looking for. I doubt they will nominate him.

No, he had a mistress at one time, and as such the Religious Right have denounced him. He is, however, the best man the GOP has. As long as the GOP kowtows to the Religious Right they will continue to shoot themselves in the foot.

I sure hope Mike Bloomburg can be persuaded to run. Other than him I can't see anyone in either party who is really of the caliber needed for the job.
