No need to be scared. It can happen due to hormonal changes, stress, weight loss sometimes, just as long as you are not having sex you are okay. Sometimes it takes 28 days in the cycle sometimes 36. you are in the clear.

Sometimes a period can come later than expected. If you're having unprotected sex, than you should try one of those home pregnancy tests. Maybe an older relative can buy it for you - like a parent, an aunt or a cousin, etc. If you are sexually active you should get counseling from the school nurse or counseler.

Hope your not pregnant...you've got soo many years to live and enjoy without the responsibility of motherhood. Don't make the same mistakes other make.

If your period was due on the 5th, I'm assuming the first date of your last period was approx. Sept. 7th. If this is correct you are late. Double check your dates, go back to the first day of your period in September then count forward 28 days and that is when your period in October should start. Don't get excited until you are sure of your date.

Tell your mother. There is most likely a reasonable explanation why this has happened. If you have been having sex, then you better get to a doctor right away. But please, tell your mother right away. Of course you are scared. If you don't want to talk to your mother, then talk to your guidance counselor. Just do it. You will feel better, because carrying around this burden and not sharing it with someone else is not good for you and this can cause even more delay for your period. Sometimes when I was young, mine would do that, too. Stress can cause it to happen. But I suggest you tell your mother right away. She loves you and she will take care of you.

The big ? is -- have you had sex? If not, there is nothing to worry about because at your age irregular periods are not at all worrisome. If you have had sex, you need to talk to mom and take a pregnancy test. It would show up now since your period was already due.

First things first... if you are sexually active, wait a few more days and take a pregnancy test. You can get one free at your local health clinic. If you are not sexually active, this is probably something perfectly normal. Stress, strenuous activity, and even diet can effect your period. Give your body time to regulate itself. Oh and stressing out about missing your period stresses you out even more, delaying your period even longer! It's a viscous cycle,

It is not odd for it to be irregular sometimes, especially when you are young. If you haven't had sex, but it still doesn't come tell your mom so you can see a doctor. Since you say your scared that leads me to believe you had sex. If you think you are pregnant you'll want to get checked. If that is the case, eventually you will have to tell your mom.

If you aren't sexually active then you have nothing to worry about so you should tell your mom that way you can go to do Dr if you need to, if you are sexually active then you need to take a home pregnancy test, pray that it is negative and think about what you are doing, if it isn't negative then you are going to have to find a way to talk to your mom. Good Luck.

The big question that you do not answer, is, have you been sexually active in the past 60 days ? If not, I wouldn't be too worried about it yet. Sorry, but when you say Ladies Only, you know that guys are going to want to see the question. Good Luck! :)
