Hi I was wanting to have a little bit of stubble on my face and was wondering how you go about this, do I just get some sharp scissors and cut it when its getting long?

Nah it would be impossible to do with scissors.

I don't know where you live but here when men get their head shaved in hairdressers there are different levels. You can ask for "a number 1" or a 2 or 3 etc..
This is referring to the different lengths of the shaved hair. Down to complete baldness. Maybe you are familiar with this?

It's the same with your facial hair.
You get razors/ trimmers which will have different attachments or settings for different lengths.
It will tell you the info on the pack and probably have numbers like the hairdresser.

Eg: # 2= trimmed to 3mm

Each attachment/setting has a barrier which doesn't let the razor cut the hair any closer than is marked.

It is that simple.

Be careful with this. Make sure you get a beard trimmer that has settings that are low enough to give you that stubble look. Most trimmers are not capable of doing that.

The main way to get stubble is to wait, but make sure you are shaving the hair should come back stronger after you shave.

just do nothing & shave occasionally, don't use manual ones 'cos they take everything off, electric ones r probably the best...
