The passages take longest. IF you are running out of time, take the questions that refer to a line number or definition, look at the line, line above, and line below, and see if you can answer it again.
The questions that ask you which I, II, III, IV, V, is correct, or which is incorrect, if you can't do it the first time, don't spend too much time on it. They are designed to waste time.

The questions that have fill in the two blanks, answer the second blank first, that makes it easier, look for key shifting words such as, but, while, instead, etc.

In the questions which give you an underlined part and ask which is the correct way to say it. Mostly the shortest answer is the correct.
If you can't eliminate at least 3 choices, don't guess. You have a guessing penalty.
All questions are valued the same. It doesn't matter how hard a question you can do. The only award there is an ego boost. Usually the easiest questions come in the beginning.

I agree with (i say)....I 've been taking atleast 2 tests a year since high school. the only other thing I can suggest is to go through the test and answer all the questions you know right off the top of your head first. Then you'll have a little bit more time to go through the ones you have to think about. It works pretty well for me.
Good luck and get plenty of rest and a good breakfast in the morning.
PS Most important, don't sweat it, it hurts your thought process.

Drink heavily before you take the test. I am serious, you won't have the doubts and inhibitions about your answers you might have otherwise.
