how do you get around an administrator password on xp?

my daughter got on my computer and chaged the password and i can't get into my account anymore and it was the administrator one..i need to get to some files on that account but i can't find them anywhere on this one.

Start the computer in 'safe mode.' It shouldn't ask you for a password, then you can get what you need or create a new account.

How well do you know the program? Ask a Microsoft trained person. As for files, that wont get deleted or anything like that. It simply needs a few extra steps to access them . Try a search. Again, just get a Microsoft person to help you out.
