Hi,
Don't worry about it! There is nothing horrible in the state like that
When you sleep and hold your nerves cell on each other and they freeze so you can't feel your part of the body. You can take it and you can feel how heavy can be your leg for instance.
I have the same periodically and it scares me but it takes me one 30 seconds to have it back.
You can't control the position of your body when you sleep anyway.
Sleep healthy and trust me.
Take care

You may or may not have a problem. When we sit in a position that restricts the blood flow for a time, the tissues in that appendage don't get enough oxygen. It's like putting a torniquet on the appendage.
You may want to call the nearest emergency room and find out what they have to say.
Alternately, you may want to try this: Start off by getting in a position that will get the blood flowing. Perhaps on a bed. Alternately raise and lower the leg to get the blood flowing. You'll likely experience some pain in doing this. If you continue to feel nothing and still cannot move your leg after say 10 or 20 minutes, then definitely call the emergency room. Don't wait too long.
Good luck,
--Dee

Can you feel your leg? Is it tingly the way limbs get when they "wake up" after "falling asleep"? Try massaging it to work the blood back into your leg. You may want to see a doctor about it... are you alone? Call someone to get some help. Seven hours is a long time to deprive your leg of circulation. Good luck.

I did something like that once and both legs fell asleep. But after walking around the feeling came back. If it doesn't come back there may be a problem.

Chill out, your leg is asleep.
You know how we seem to act in slow motion when we first wake up after a deep sleep? Same deal, different part of the body.

Wow. If you consider this to be a major problem I want your life! People are homeless, starving, being killed just for being born into a certain ethnicity, addictted to drugs, in abusive relationships they can't escape from and your major problem is that your leg is asleep? Must be nice.

The next time you want to park yourself on the couch, be sure to set an alarm clock so your leg won't oversleep =)
