The refrigerator has to be one of the world's best inventions. It's nice to have access to fresh meats, dairy products, and so on without owning the farm animals.

In house video games, it sucked always having to go to the arcades.....spending all that money just to continue. And not to mention closing times. Now you can just pull out the console (of YOUR choice) and play whenever and However you want.
Best game invented: Legend of Zelda Ocarina of Time.

the pencil and paper....You can write down your thoughts or make a list or what ever you need to do and you dont need elctricity to do it either just a little light and thats where the candle comes in as third on the list then a match to light it as number 4 I could keep going on but oh well

the water pump, no telling how much of a day was spent hauling water, and the amount of stink avoicec once we all had the water available.
