1. Have good looks, and take care of your looks, i.e, makeup,hair etc.
2. Know a little about how to dance
3. Know how to tease and make lots of money doing it
4. Pay attention and dont waste time if theyre not paying/tips

6. Never tell ppl your business, if you have a boyfriend kids,pets
leave your personal life at home
7. Only tell costumers what they like to hear, even if you have to lie
8. Do not over drink! this causes silly behavior you lose focus on the income and may in the end do something you'll regret the next morning
9. Never do Drugs...especially cc
10. Never leave with anybody you do not know
11. Smell nice and fresh but not overly they have to go home not smelling like you
12. choose music to dance to that guys like to hear, not whats hip sometimes....big mistake from dancers just they dont hear the comments the men are making in the crowd

If you've ever been to a strip club before, you'd realise there really AREN'T any requirements. Some of those girls are really unattractive and trashy. There are some really nice, up-scale strip clubs; I'm not sure on the requirements at those places, though, as I've never desired a career in that field.
The adult entertainment industry is a really bad choice, though. I have a few friends that have fallen victim to it; every single one of them have regretted it. Sure, it's fast, easy money.. but it comes at a price. You lose all sense of self-respect, men treat you like a piece of meat, and the staff at alot of those places usually treat the dancers horribly. I knew of one girl.. If she needed a day off, they would only grant it to her if she found a cover with a larger cup size. (ie, a '36c' couldn't cover a shift for a girl who was a '36d'). There have also been plenty of accounts where the club staff physically abuses the dancers, or make them share an insane amount of their 'tips'. (We're talking 60-80% here.)
All in all, it's a horrible career choice.

being a stripper btw is not trashy, its using a god given gift for necessity(sometimes).
just cause someone is a stripper, it dont mean they are trashy or whore'y. hey ever been a single parent? it takes money, and when your poor, you can save enough to educate yourself and leave the dirt floors behind in just a few short yrs. hey it does suck, but morals are only someone else enforcing their ideas and demands on you. socially acceptable doesnt count for squatt when the bills are due and your baby needs formula. so go for it, besides as a single dad, if it werent for women willing to take their clothes off for money, id forget what they even looked like nude. desperation sucks, but im trying like hell to change my family tree and keep my kids from being me, and working my fingers bloody for 11 yrs in 1 job and only earning $8.50 an hour. ive been roofing 1 yr, now i make $10.00 an hour, and i dont get nit-picked or ran to the point of dropping. its hard, but i rarely come home stooped over anymore.
now if i could get someone to pay me to take my clothes off,hmmmmmmm. right now i cant get any1 to have me do this for free lmfao, fte

I always just thought a girl would ask to speak to the guy in charge do a little dance and if she was good in his opinion then the girl got the job. I don't think there would be much more to it. but there might be. I'd be interested to see the other responces.

Be willing to take your clothes off. That's it. You don't have to look good or dance well, just get used to having guys stuff dollar bills in your g-string. Or garter if g-strings are unavailable.
