Okay my boyfriend is goin through a really tough time right now and i need to know how to comfort him... We've been together for a while now... and we've always been there for eachother. since we've been together him and his family have moved like 3 times and now his mom doesnt have a home so hes living with his cousin's grandmad and his moms living with her sister..My dad and I are supose to go shopping tomorrow in the states and i wanted my bf to come but he said he doesnt want 2 bc he has no money.. So i was like alright. and we were sitting at the computer and he looked all sad and im like what wrong hun hes like my life is soo messed up... im like why hes like I have no money i have no home that i can call mine, then i said well I'm here for you hes like i know and i appreciate it and then he said.im so hurt inside i wanna cry but im holding it in.i told him not 2.started 2 cry and i huged him and he had watery eyes what do i do to help him I hate seein him like this i love him

I Feel very sad for him and he's not my boyfriend.....but one thing i can tell you right now is: just help him to fine a job , be there for him like what you're doing.......God blessed your heart you're doing a wonderful job by staying by his side . Pray to god and he will answer your prayer.

I think that if you really love him then you will always be there for him you are doing a good job on a count of that you are still with him even though he's kinda broke but anyway you should probably take a step up with your relationship, talk more and do things together more even if he says that he has no money let your dad but him some stuff because he probably feels sadder (no offence) that you said ok so fast that now he knows that he wasn't going to be able to get anything if he did because he did not have any money so ask your dad to buy some things for him and I hope every thing works out for him and you too hugs and kisses you have my love

you're very dear to care so much about him.
his feelings of sadness are in part the stirrings of manhood. he knows he can't depend on others outside his family for help and still hold his head up. and yet he knows he still needs help. what a terrible bind his family put him in by not providing adequately for him. poor baby. he was mistreated by life, not set up right.
the bottom line, tho, no matter what life did to him, is that he has to start thinking about ways to help himself. he owes it to himself to take good care of himself.
all you can do is let him talk, hold him, and expect him to do his best in life, especially since he can see how much people suffer when you don't. don't let him off the hook for his responsiblity and growth - letting him know you expect him to survive and thrive is the best thing you can do for him.
i'd like to hug him too.

give him your shoulder if he needs to cry. Tell him you are there for him and you know he will get through this cause you have faith in him. Tell him that you will both get a job and you will both get through this and you are there when ever he needs you!
