You kinda missed the whole joke. I already heard this one and there is much more to it. I think it goes something like this:

How do you put an Elephant in the Fridge?

The Lion, king of the animal kingdom, has called a meeting, Which animals come to the meeting?

And,

You are in the jungle, stuck on one side of a river filled with alligators. How do you get across? (there is no bridge)

ANSWER:

Open the door, put the Griaffe in.

Open the door, take the Giraffe out, and put the Elephant in.

All the animals will be at the meeting, except the Elephant, because he's in the Fridge.

Swim across the river, because all the Gators are at the meeting.

This is how my mind works:

I was thinking if you hack them both up into little pieces, then shove 'em in some ziploc bags you could fit both of them in the fridge at the same time.

Oh no!
I put them BOTH in the food processor and then put the result in plastic containers, carefully labelled so as to not go past the "freshness" date, and stuck those in the freezer.
