my bills have doubbled since we installed 9 chandelers, will my electric bill go down if we dim the lights?

No,because dimmers do not save you any power.If you want to save power change the bulbs to lower wattage and or remove some home appliances that you leave in a standby mode.

If you dim the lights it may cost you more (for fixing your nose after bumping into everything).
You need to use lower watt bulbs. Unfortunately, I don't think they're available in the small bulbs of chandeliers, unless you can use the type used on Christmas trees.

well you have NINE chandelers! of course your bill went up

and no, dimming is not cutting power. use a lower wattage of bulbs or dont run them all the time.

There are energy efficient bulbs. They are more expensive to purchase initially but they last longer and use less electricity.

no all you need to do is change the bulb to a smaller watt rate

NO ............On is On............and off is off !

When we are not in a room there is no light on.........Only turn it on if you are to be in there...........Our electric bills are low....We are very conservative !!!!
