Coal Mines?

Anyone a coal miner or married to one? My husband just recently went underground, he got his permanent card on wednesday! My question is, do you think the pay is worth the risk?

i personally don't, i think they deserve more for risking their lives every day.....thats just me though....i want to know what you all think.....

I have no clue what the pay is, but regardless the risks are high and they should probably be making 2 or 3 times what they do.
They should also have paid up life insurance policy's for about a 100 grand. You are to be admired.
