I can't tell you what to charge but as a teacher I usually charge $35 an hour and if I tutor more than one student at a time I drop it down to $25 an hour. You'll have to decide what your strengths and weaknesses are. Remember I can charge $35 an hour I have my Master's. Good Luck!!

You should easily get at least $20. If you're good?!?

You really couldn't ask for much I would say. The reason is because you are not really an 'expert' in the field. First off, you usually have to be in a well-to-do area. Next, your main target are those kids who are pretty much just lazy and don't care, their parents want them to succeed but they could care less at this point in time.

As for the expert part, you have no degree. Tutors that get paid are usually people with teaching degrees and who just do it on the side to gain more money.

i think of it quite is in simple terms too low. I used to cost $10 an hour in basic terms for babysitting. attempting to take a seat down with a toddler and prepare is plenty greater time ingesting for the reason which you're additionally having to improve some classes outdoors of this 3 hour block. professional instructors commonly fee 30-50 an hour. places like sylvan fee 50 an hour. At sylvan, my hubby made $10 an hour. although, the mummy may be offering $20 because of the fact she can't discover the money for greater. in case you have been desirous to be a instructor, i could say that the low fee must be allowed for the reason which you have become some journey for you to use on a resume and to reference in an interview.

If you are hs student, charge what you think your time is worth as well as what you are worth. You are not a teacher so you cannot chare a lot....maybe $20 an hour or $25. That seems reasonable.
